Come visit two historic, 19th century properties, once the homes of Mary Baker Eddy, discoverer and founder of Christian Science. She was a New Hampshire native who founded the Church of Christ, Scientist, a worldwide denomination, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Christian Science Monitor newspaper. Learn about her life and what life was like in these northern villages in the mid 1800s. The houses are located in Rumney Village and North Groton. Open May-October, Tues-Sat, 10 AM-4 PM. Tours begin at the Rumney house. $5 suggested donation. The houses are owned and operated by Longyear Museum.
