Fall Art Show

The Plymouth Fall Art Show will once again be held on the Plymouth Town Common for the 23rd consecutive year! We are excitedly looking forward to the beautiful fall color of the leaves as well as the beautiful artwork that is displayed every year!

This year, we are adding a new dimension to this annual event! The Art Show Committee is expanding the horizons of this wonderful outdoor event to include the whole of Main Street in Plymouth. Some Main Street businesses will be host to several area fine art crafters. You will see things like fine jewelry, pottery, quilts, sculptures, and a whole lot more! These artisans will set up their displays in stores along Main Street, and you will get the chance to not only check out the local merchandise, but also some unique items by these wonderfully talented artisans. If you are an artisan and would like to be involved in this aspect of the 2007 Fall Art Show, please contact the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce at 536-1001 for more information.

The Children’s Division of the Art Show will once again be on display the day of the Art Show, so that you can view some of the finest of our young local artists from area schools.

Community Guaranty Savings Bank will also be host to this artwork for the entire week prior to the Art Show. Community Guaranty Savings Bank is located on South Main Street, and they would love to have you stop by to take a peek at the kids art display!

Become a Purchase Prize Sponsor!

Any interested individual, business, or organization

•  Agree to sponsor a Purchase Prize in the amount of $100, $150, $200, or $250. In exchange for your sponsorship, you will be able to select a piece of art during the Art Show on September 29th. Art mediums represented include: oils, pastels, watercolors, photography, mixed media, and more.

•  The sponsor, or your representative, has 3 hours (9 am - 12 noon) in which to make a selection. Selections must be made by 12 noon.

•  Upon arrival at the Art Show, you will be given a Purchase Prize Card reflecting the amount of your Purchase Prize. The Sponsor inspects all eligible works of art and selects one. The Artists are willing to negotiate prices of artwork in exchange for a Purchase Prize. It is up to the sponsor to conduct any negotiations and confirm a selection and price with the artist. You present the Artist with the Purchase Prize Card and report your selection to the Art Show Committee.

•  During the awards ceremony held at 2 pm in the Gazebo, the artist is given a check for the Purchase Prize amount, along with a ribbon. The sponsor is presented with the selected piece of art and recognition as the Purchase Prize Sponsor!  Remember - the art is usually worth more than the Purchase Prize amount, and it will increase in value over time!
